Mixing Guidelines

PLEASE LISTEN CAREFULLY TO ALL AUDIO FILES BEFORE UPLOADING
* All sounds are present in your mix.
* There are no glitches or recording errors.
* The arrangement is correct.
* There are no automation errors.
 
FILE FORMAT
Stereo WAV or AIF.
No mp3 or lossy files.
 
BIT-DEPTH
16-Bit or 24-Bit
 
SAMPLE-RATE
44.1k Minimum.
Must be the same as your mixing session, do not upsample.
 
REFRENCES
An effortless way to explain where you’re aiming.
Wav or Aif files are great, no mp3!
 
HEADROOM
Leaving on each channel at least -10 dBfs headroom
 
EFFECTS
Send all effects in separated channels if printed on a channel we won’t have control over the amounts. IF your effects or processing are part of the sound we recommend printing it on the channel.
 
CHECKS
All mixes are carefully checked before Mastering, we’d kindly ask you to do the same.
If any issues are found or possible areas for improvement in the mix we’ll be in touch.
 
REMARKS
Our pricing is structured based on a maximum of 25 channels for mixing. Any project exceeding this limit will be subject to additional charges. Alternatively, you may consider grouping channels to optimise efficiency and minimize costs.

Mastering Guidelines

PLEASE LISTEN CAREFULLY TO ALL AUDIO FILES BEFORE UPLOADING
* Make sure all sounds are present in your mix.

* The arrangement is correct.
* No automation errors.
 
FILE FORMAT
Stereo WAV or AIF.
No mp3 or lossy files.
 
BIT-DEPTH
32-Bit Float (No Dither) is prefered.
24-Bit (Triangle Dither) is okay.
 
SAMPLE-RATE
44.1k Minimum.
Must be the same as your mixing session, do not upsample.
 
MASTER-BUS PLUGINS
Master plugin processing on your mix bus is part of your mix. If you unsure feel free to send with and without Master Bus processing,
 
LIMITING & CLIPPING
Light limiting on peaks is acceptable.
If you’ve limited hard, lower this as much as possible without changing your mix.
Leave -3 to -5 dB (recommended) Avoid clipping.
 
REFRENCES
An effortless way to explain where you’re aiming.
Wav or Aif files are great, no mp3!
 
HEADROOM
Leaving a few dB (-3 to -5 dB recommended) between your highest peaks and 0dBfs is essential when sending a 24-Bit Mix. This isn’t necessary when sending 32-Bit Float.

All mixes are carefully checked before Mastering, we’d kindly ask you to do the same.
